Starting care at our office is simple. You just give us a call and set up an appointment. If you have insurance with chiropractic benefits (most insurance includes some sort of chiropractic coverage) we will ask you for your insurance information over the phone and will verify your benefits for you so that you have that information ready for your initial visit. We can often provide a same-day appointment, in which case we will do our best to get details about your benefits before your appointment, but you are encouraged to call the number on the back of your card or check your Coverage Benefits booklet to see the details of your coverage.
We are Preferred Providers (in network) for some insurance companies, such as BlueCross BlueShield, CareFirst, UnitedHealthCare, Aetna and John Hopkins. We accept and process claims for Cigna and many other insurance companies whom we choose not to be In-Network with. Feel free to call us and ask if you aren’t sure. Even if your coverage doesn’t include chiropractic, or if you don’t have health insurance, we offer reasonable cash rates. Additionally, we do accept certain state Medicaid plans such as UnitedHealthCare Community Plan and John Hopkins Priority Partners.
Whether or not your health concern can be helped by chiropractic care alone cannot always be determined without a consultation or exam, but you can certainly call the office and ask any questions you may have before scheduling an appointment and we will do our best to give you a clear answer.
Get started – just call and schedule an appointment. In most cases we can fit you in on the same day if you call early, or within a few days. You will need to set aside about an hour for your first visit. Following visits may take anywhere from just 10 minutes to maybe a half hour or more, depending on the specifics of your case.
We have a policy of not keeping anyone waiting too long for their appointment. If you show up on time, you will not be waiting around for your time with the doctor.
You can save yourself more time at the office, and probably do a better job filling out the new patient paperwork, by printing them at home and bringing them in completed. You only need the New Patient Form – the other two are for your information only and you may choose to use them to verify your own insurance benefits. Here are the links for those files:
